Vinyasa Flow Yoga
This style of yoga resembles dance, where poses are seamlessly coordinated with breath. The term Vinyasa, broken down means “to place in a special way.”
Yin Yoga is a practice of slow, long-held, seated or supine asanas that access the deeper levels of connective tissue and fascia. This promotes life force energy, also known as “chi” or “prana”.
All physical yoga is considered “Hatha”. But for purposes of explanation, Hatha is placing the body into a pose and proper alignment of the posture. It is a static practice that is held for several breaths.
